# AGENTS.md

## Overview

This is Basil Mitsubishi's AI-agent discovery surface — a machine-readable companion to
Basil Mitsubishi's main website, not a software project. There is no source code, build
step, or codebase at this host for a coding agent to work in. If you're a coding
agent that's been asked to integrate with Basil Mitsubishi's data, or a general-purpose
agent that reached this file while crawling, the sections below are what you need.

## Installation

There is nothing to install. This is a hosted service, not a package — point any
HTTP client at `https://agent.basilmitsubishi.com` and start calling the endpoints below directly.

## Configuration

No configuration is required to read data — every endpoint works with no credential
at all. If your framework expects to authenticate anyway, see
[Authentication](#authentication) below for the one real, optional flow this
platform supports.

- An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server exposing the same data as callable tools.
- An A2A (Agent2Agent) agent card for agent-to-agent interoperability.
- Optional OAuth 2.0 endpoints for agents that expect to authenticate — every
  endpoint below already works without one.

authentication is optional everywhere — no request below requires a credential to
succeed.

## Conventions

- All data is served as JSON-LD (Schema.org) unless noted otherwise.
- Every endpoint sets `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *` — no CORS proxy needed.
- Responses are cached (`Cache-Control: public, s-maxage=3600`) — safe to poll
  periodically rather than on every request.
